Armoloy - The Standard in Surface Treatments

Armoloy provides multiple coating processes that enhance performance and protect against adverse environments far exceeding the useful life span of the base metal alone. More specifically, Armoloy applies unique surfacing techniques that deposit a thin dense micro-nodular structured chromium directly to the base metal. Armoloy's coatings are commonly applied where enhanced wear life, corrosion resisitance or friction reduction are needed to provide better performance.

The coatings are applied with accuracy and uniformity to eliminate secondary operations. Mating parts can also be Armoloy coated further reducing the coefficient of friction and the possibility of galling and fretting.

Additionally, Armoloy is used for repair or retrofit applications resulting in considerable cost savings. The micro-nodular characteristics of Armoloy reduces surface contact area and aids in lubricant retention. These features when coupled with the inherent lubricity of our coatings, result in a lower coefficient of static and sliding friction.

Armoloy's coatings are considered to be a cold process having operation temperatures under 150°F, therefore will not distort or change close tolerances, will not chip, crack, flake, or otherwise seperate from the basis metal. Our coatings can be applied to all ferrous and most non-ferrous substrates. We will improve the productivity of your application.
